WINDY CITY SMOKEOUT ANNOUNCES FIRST EVER “ROAD TO SMOKEOUT” CONCERT SERIES PRESENTED BY BUSCH LIGHT AND US99 LIVE AT BUB CITY CHICAGO
Windy City Smokeout, the two-time Academy of Country Music “Festival of the Year” music and BBQ festival from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, is thrilled to announce its first-ever “Road to Smokeout” presented by Busch Light and US99. Beginning Friday, June 5, the new weekly concert series at Bub City Chicago will count down the days to the 13th annual Windy City Smokeout. Running from July 8–12 outside the iconic United Center, the festival will once again bring together an all-star lineup of nationally acclaimed performers and pitmasters.
The “Road To Smokeout” series presented by Busch Light and US99 will feature rising country music stars Landon Wilks, Timothy Wayne, and Atlus, as well as a special afternoon show with South City Revival prior to Morgan Wallen’s appearance in Chicago on June 19 later that evening. Each show will feature drink specials from Busch Light and a chance to win tickets to Windy City Smokeout.

“The ‘Road to Smokeout’ presented by Busch Light and US99 is a nod to all of the emerging artists we’ve discovered at Bub City who’ve later headlined at Windy City Smokeout,” said ACM Award-winning promoter and Windy City Smokeout Co-founder and Partner Ed Warm. “Superstars like Zach Bryan, Kacey Musgraves, Luke Combs, and Morgan Wallen all performed at Bub City as up-and-comers, and we’re thrilled to introduce this new concert series to give rising stars and fans another chance to connect ahead of this year’s event.”
Windy City Smokeout kicks off on Wednesday, July 8, with a performance by headliner Treaty Oak Revival. Before the full roster of pitmasters debuts on Thursday, fans can get a preview of the weekend’s flavors from Bub City and festival newcomer Terry Black’s Barbecue, along with exclusive Wednesday night guest appearances by Steel Belly BBQ (Algoma, WI) and Sanders BBQ Supply Co. (Chicago, IL). Other “Beyond BBQ” favorites available for the evening include Pizzeria Portofino, Summer House, Chipperbec Fries, Roadside Eats, and Bub City Burgers.
The festival’s Thursday-Sunday schedule will welcome headliners Hootie & The Blowfish, Lainey Wilson, Jordan Davis, and Blake Shelton, along with more than 15 of country music’s hottest rising stars.
