General FAQs

Our emphasis and goal is on serving you the best and freshest food possible. If you have any special needs or requests, please let your server know. Our servers and managers have been through extended training on the ingredients in our food, and they are always happy to assist you with your dietary needs and preferences.

We use fresh as well as many seasonal items in our dishes so our menu offerings change frequently. Consequently we are unable to provide nutritional information breakdowns, like those you see on grocery store products or at fast food restaurants, where items are produced with standardized recipes and can then be tested in food labs.

We welcome your feedback on our food and menu presentations and will always do our best to accommodate your requests.
All of our restaurants have very strict procedures when it comes to dietary restrictions and we are always accommodating of any allergies. We ask that you inform the hostess as well as your waiter/waitress as soon as you are greeted. You are also more than welcome to reach out to any of our restaurants individually if you wish to discuss further prior to your visit.

Vegan Options: All of our restaurants can accommodate a vegan diet, but menus that will already have plenty of vegan options can be found at Beatrix, Ema, and Hub 51.

Gluten-Free Options: All of our restaurants can accommodate a gluten-free diet, but please see our Gluten-Free Friendly Restaurants post with a list of our most gluten conscious restaurants.
Maggiano's Little Italy is an affiliated restaurant with Lettuce Entertain You, but we do not own or operate any of their locations. Due to the special nature of our relationship, Maggiano’s has historically participated in the Lettuce Entertain You Frequent Diner program at all of their Chicagoland locations, and also accepts our green Lettuce Entertain You gift cards at any Maggiano’s nationwide.

Frequent Diner Club points and Reward Dollars may be earned and redeemed at Maggiano’s Little Italy locations in Illinois and Wisconsin through April 15, 2023. Effective April 16, 2023, Maggiano’s Little Italy will no longer participate in the Lettuce Entertain You Frequent Diner Club. and Lettuce Entertain You Gift Cards and Holiday Bonuses will no longer be accepted as payment at Maggiano’s Little Italy Restaurants.

General Frequent Diner FAQ

You receive one Frequent Diner Club Point for every dollar you spend on your Food & Beverage when dining at any participating Lettuce Entertain You Restaurant. You will automatically receive $10 in Reward Dollars for every 150 points you earn. There are three Status Levels that you can achieve as a member of the Frequent Diner Club
- Blue Members spend between $1-$999 in a calendar year, and earn 1 Point per Dollar spent
- Silver Members spend at least $1,000 in a calendar year, and earn 1.25 Points per Dollar spent
- Gold Members spend over $2,500 in a calendar year, and earn 1.5 Points per Dollar spent, and have other special privileges such as Priority Reservations at Lettuce Restaurants
Once you have reached Silver or Gold Status, you will keep that status through the current and following calendar year. You can manage your account, make reservations, store Gift Cards, track points, and redeem Reward Dollars using the LettuceEats app.
The key to earning points is the Check-In page on the LettuceEats app. Tap “Check In” at the bottom of the app screen, then tap the name of the restaurant where you are dining. The app will then generate a four-digit check in code which you should write at the bottom of your restaurant check in the box that reads “LettuceEats Mobile Code” OR Present your Frequent Diner Club Rewards Card when paying the check, and ask your server to apply points to your account.
Frequent Diner Club Points may be earned on orders placed directly through our restaurant websites, Lettuce.com, or our LettuceEats app. Frequent Diner Club points are not earned on orders placed with Caviar, Delivery Wow, DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, Postmates, Dwell Social, or any other third-party service. Online carryout and delivery orders from Maggiano’s Little Italy or Wow Bao are not eligible to earn Frequent Diner Club points. If you would like to earn points for your carryout order at a Maggiano’s Little Italy or Wow Bao location, you must call the restaurant directly to place your order. Frequent Diner Club points and Reward Dollars may be earned on eligible carryout orders at Maggiano’s Little Italy locations in Illinois and Wisconsin through April 15, 2023. Effective April 16, 2023, Maggiano’s Little Italy will no longer participate in the Lettuce Entertain You Frequent Diner Club. Points earned at Maggiano’s locations prior to April 16, 2023 will remain in member accounts for future redemption at participating Lettuce Entertain You restaurants only.
To use the Reward Dollars in your account, write the amount you wish to redeem in box labeled ‘Rewards to Redeem $’ (located just underneath the section that reads ‘LettuceEats Mobile Code’). OR When using your Rewards Card, just let your server know the amount in Rewards Dollars you wish to apply to your bill. Frequent Diner Dining Rewards are not valid in conjunction with any other offers, discounts, and promotional certificates. Frequent Diner Rewards cannot be redeemed on Saturday nights after 3 pm at any Lettuce restaurant or participating locations. Friday nights are also excluded at the Eiffel Tower. Reward Dollars are not valid at Joe’s Live in Rosemont, IL, Studio Paris, Do-Rite Donuts, The Ivy Room, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Wow Bao locations outside of Chicago, or any Big Bowl Express locations. Frequent Diner Club points and Reward Dollars may be earned and redeemed at Maggiano’s Little Italy locations in Illinois and Wisconsin through April 15, 2023. Frequent Diner Club Points are issued when Gift Cards are purchased, but not when they are redeemed. Frequent Diner Club Points are not posted on the portion of your bill paid with Gift Cards. Only the person buying the Gift Card is eligible for Frequent Diner Club Points. Reward Dollars cannot be used to purchase Gift Cards. During the Holiday Bonus Gift Card promotion (in November and December), members have the option to receive either the $25 Holiday Bonus Certificate OR Frequent Diner Club Points for their purchase, not both. Additionally, if the Holiday Bonus is chosen, the purchase will not contribute to your annual Frequent Diner Club spend.
To earn Frequent Diner Club Points when hosting a party or Private Event, you must be a Frequent Diner Club Member prior to your event date. You will receive one point per dollar for your food and beverage total. Please note: Silver and Gold bonus points are not awarded for parties or Private Events. The name of the person receiving Frequent Diner Club points must appear on the contract. In the case of a business event, either the planner or the host may receive points. For social events, only the host is eligible to receive points.
Members with a paid visit/point accrual transaction in the 12 months prior to their birth date will receive a Birthday Reward posted to their account on the first day of the month of their birthday. Blue and Silver members receive $15 Birthday Rewards and Gold members receive $20 Birthday Rewards. Birthday Rewards can be used toward your dining check on any day without restrictions. Birthday Rewards added on or after January 1, 2020 are valid for 90 days from the first day of the month of your birthday. Birthday Rewards are not cumulative, and the previous year’s Birthday Reward must be used in order for the current year’s to post.
If you have at least one paid visit/points accrual added to your account during the calendar year, the pointson your account will roll over to the following year. If you have not had a paid visit/points accrual added during a calendar year, and un-redeemed points remaining at the end of the year will be forfeited at year’s end (December 31) Please note that earned Reward Dollars on your account never expire and will carry over from year to year.

Ordering Online for Points

Points are earned when ordering directly from one of our restaurant websites, Lettuce.com, or the LettuceEats app.
- Follow these simple steps:
  1. Sign in to the LettuceEats app.
  2. Select delivery or pickup from the home screen.
  3. For delivery, enter your address and choose from the available restaurants.
  4. Select your restaurant, schedule delivery, and add your favorite items.
  5. Proceed to checkout after filling your cart.
  6. If it’s your first order, you will receive a text verification.
  7. Confirm your order. Points will be automatically added to your account after pickup or delivery.
  8. Add any rewards, promos, or gift cards.
  9. Enter your payment method or use a saved one.
  10. Your points will be posted to your account once your order is completed.
Reward Dollars can be redeemed when placing orders exclusively through our restaurant websites, Lettuce.com or the LettuceEats® app. On the checkout page under “Rewards&promos” there will be an option to toggle your available rewards for use.

Frequent Diner Dining Rewards are not valid in conjunction with any other offers, discounts, and promotional certificates. Frequent Diner Rewards cannot be redeemed on Saturday nights at any Lettuce restaurant or participating locations. Friday nights are also excluded at the Eiffel Tower. Reward Dollars are not valid at non-participating locations including, but not limited to, airport locations, Big Bowl Chinese Express, The Ivy Room, Tree Studios, Joe’s Live in Rosemont IL, Maggiano’s Little Italy locations, Windy City Smokeout, and Wow Bao locations.

Yes. You may use multiple gift cards to pay for your bill. Please note – a maximum of five (5) gift cards may be used on each online delivery or pick-up order placed through Lettuce.com, the LettuceEats app, or official Lettuce Entertain You restaurant websites, and a maximum of $1,000 may be applied to final payments of contracted events or catering orders.
Yes. Please allow up to 48 hours for points to post to your account. Frequent Diner Points are issued when Gift Cards are purchased, but not when they are redeemed. Only the person purchasing the Gift Card is eligible for Frequent Diner Points.* Please note: During the Holiday Bonus promotion, Frequent Diners may choose either Frequent Diner points OR the Holiday Bonus certificate. When ordering classic Gift Cards, you can choose to receive points or the Holiday Bonus. When ordering eGift Cards, the eHoliday Bonus is automatically awarded. Download the latest version of the LettuceEats App and log into your Frequent Diner account to access the add to app feature, and follow the steps below.
- Tap the “Gift Card” tab
- Tap the “Add” button at the bottom
- Type the 16-digit number found on the classic or eGift Card
  - Note: If you received an eGift Card, open the email, click “view my eCard,” enter your email address, and the 16-digit number will appear for you to copy and paste into the app
- Tap “Add Card”
- Once it is is added, tap on the card to view the balance and transaction history
- To add more gift cards, tap the “Add” button at the bottom
- To see all of your stored gift cards, tap the “Gift Card” tab again
Lettuce Gift Cards are valid on delivery orders placed through Lettuce.com, the LettuceEats app, and official Lettuce Entertain You restaurant websites. Gift Cards can cover order subtotal, service fees, delivery fees. Gift Cards do not cover driver/staff tips. You may redeem a maximum of five (5) gift cards per transaction. Lettuce Gift Cards are not valid on any orders placed through a third party delivery service, including but not limited to Caviar, DoorDash, GrubHub, UberEats, ChowNow, Tock or Postmates.

My Virtual Gift Card

1. Open your LettuceEats app.
2. Click the “Wallet” at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down to the “Gift Cards and Certificates” section
4. You will see your new Virtual Card at the front of the list.
5. Tap the new Virtual Gift Card to merge your cards. Please note: If you do not have any previously saved Gift Cards, you will see the options to add Gift Cards here.
6. Tap “Merge Your Gift Cards” and select the Gift Cards that you would like to merge and tap “Merge”
7. You will now have a newly created Virtual Gift Card with a unique 16 digit number for that card
1. Open your LettuceEats app.
2. Click the “Wallet” at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down to the “Gift Cards and Certificates” section and tap the caret to navigate to the “Gift Cards and Certificates” screen
4. Tap “Add Gift Card or Certificate”
5. Type in your Gift Card’s 16 digit number and, if applicable, 8 digit pin (located on the back of your Gift Card).
6. Tap “Confirm Merge” to add your card into your Virtual Gift Card
7. If you had previously created your Virtual Gift Card, your new card will be added to that Virtual Card. If you are creating your Virtual Gift Card, you will be given a new 16 digit sequence number with the combined balances.
Make sure your LettuceEats app is updated to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play Store, then log into your Frequent Diner Account To check if you are on the latest version of the app, go to your profile by clicking your name at the top left, scroll down to the bottom of your screen to view the version of the app you are currently on.

Other Certificates

On the right side or back of your paper gift certificate, there is a two-letter code followed by a number. Using this information, please read below to determine what type of paper certificate you have. CP/AP = Complimentary Certificates These certificates will only be honored by the restaurant printed on the front. If your certificate has an expiration date printed on it, it would be at the discretion of the individual restaurant to accept it. ZZ = Holiday Bonus certificates These certificates are only valid January 2 – April 15. We are happy to accept your old Holiday Bonus any year during this redemption period. LL, FF, VV, OO, or JJ = Cash Certificates These certificates are considered cash and will be honored by all of the Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants without restrictions. Although these certificates are the precursor to our plastic gift cards, and have no expiration, they will not hold a balance and must be used in full.
Yes. Please mail your certificate to our corporate office, and we can exchange it for a general Lettuce Entertain You certificate that can be used at any of our restaurants. Please send to: Lettuce Entertain You Gift Cards 5419 N. Sheridan Suite 105 Chicago, IL 60640 Once we receive the certificate, we will send out a replacement. Please include your return address.

Terms and Conditions

Please present this card for food, beverage, tax and gratuity at participating Lettuce Entertain You ® Enterprises, Inc. restaurants. Purchases will be deducted from the card until the value reaches zero. The card cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. This card is not valid toward Frequent Diner points when used. This card is valid towards online delivery and pick up orders placed only through Lettuce.com, the LettuceEats app, and official Lettuce Entertain You restaurant websites. Lettuce Entertain You Gift Cards will be accepted for payments of private parties and catering events up to $1,000. Gift Cards cannot be used towards deposits but for final payment only. Lettuce Gift Cards are not valid the same day as purchased November 1- December 30. This card has no maintenance or non-usage fees and never expires. Protect this card like cash. Lettuce Entertain You is not responsible for gift cards sold on unauthorized sites or secondary markets. In 1995, the concept was sold to Brinker International, and at that time, Brinker took over operations and management of all Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurants nationwide.
