We are excited to share that The Cookie Bar by Summer House will be opening its first standalone location on Wednesday, September 3 in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood at 161 E. Huron St. The Cookie Bar has been a fixture of the Summer House brand for more than a decade. Chances are, if you’ve visited one of the Summer House Santa Monica locations in Lincoln Park, North Bethesda, Las Vegas or Orlando, you may recall being greeted by the delicious and nostalgic sights and aromas of The Cookie Bar, showcasing a selection of house made signature cookies, bars and treats.
The first-ever standalone Cookie Bar will offer a selection of signature Summer House cookies, plus seasonal specials made by Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants’ Pastry Chef and winner of Netflix’s “School of Chocolate” Juan Gutierrez. Baked fresh daily, cookie options will include Chocolate Chip, Raspberry Cheesecake, Birthday Cake, a vegan and gluten-free Chocolate Chip, and more. In addition to the cookie selection, guests can also grab specialty iced coffee drinks from La Colombe coffee roasters and fresh-churned soft-serve.
This will be the first time The Cookie Bar will offer soft-serve available in a cone or cup in Vanilla, Chocolate or Swirl, with topping options such as house-made hot fudge, rainbow sprinkles or mini chocolate chips. Other items special to this location will be The Crumbler featuring house-made cookies blended into soft-serve, and a Cold Brew Float made with nitro coffee poured over vanilla soft-serve.
The Cookie Bar by Summer House is located at 161 E. Huron St., Chicago, IL 60611. It will be open Monday – Friday from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM and Saturday – Sunday from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
