River North cocktail destination lands at No. 27 securing its place among the continent’s top bar programs

Gus’ Sip & Dip, the classic neighborhood bar from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants located in Chicago’s River North, has been named one of North America’s 50 Best Bars, earning the No. 27 spot on the prestigious 2026 list from The World’s 50 Best.

Voted on by an academy of industry experts, bartenders, and drinks writers, the list highlights bars that are shaping cocktail culture on a global scale.

Led by Beary and Kitsmiller, the bar serves 30 reimagined, expertly crafted classic cocktails at an approachable price point, alongside an elevated, award-winning bar menu from Chef Partner Bob Broskey (RPM Restaurants). Gus’ Sip & Dip operates on a walk-in-only basis, and also features a rotating Happy Hour and late-night dining in a welcoming, tavern-style setting.
