Little Diner’s Crew and Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants Launch First-Ever Kids Restaurant Week
One-of-a-kind culinary journey designed just for young diners to take place May 3 – May 7
Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is thrilled to announce the inaugural Kids Restaurant Week, hosted in partnership with Little Diner’s Crew (LDC), the Chicago-based experiential dining club dedicated to expanding kids’ palates.
Taking place Sunday, May 3 – Thursday, May 7, this first-of-its-kind experience invites kids to explore the world through food—one restaurant at a time.
Each evening, young diners will gather at a different Lettuce Entertain You restaurant, where they’ll embark on a culinary adventure exploring global cuisines from Italy, France, Spain, Japan and America, created specifically for them. During each experience, kids will:
- Enjoy a multi-course prix fixe dinner curated for young palates, including starters, entrees, desserts, and mocktails
- Meet the chef and learn about the inspiration behind each dish
- Taste and rate dishes, encouraging curiosity and critical thinking
- Build confidence by exploring new flavors and global cuisines
Each child will receive an official Kids Restaurant Week Passport, stamped at every restaurant they attend—creating a fun, collectible way to track their culinary journey across the week.

While kids enjoy their dedicated chef-led experience, parents are invited to dine separately in the restaurant or bar, making it a unique evening that caters to both young diners and adults alike.

Each session has a capacity to host 20 or more kids and will take place in the early evening, with exact timing varying by location, offering a structured yet relaxed environment for families at select Lettuce Entertain You restaurants in Chicago’s Lincoln Park and River North.
