LONE STAR SMOKEOUT ANNOUNCES FULL PITMASTER LINEUP FOR APRIL 24–26, 2026 FESTIVAL OUTSIDE AT&T STADIUM
Roster will include James Beard nominees, Texas Monthly Top 50 selections, Michelin-recommended pitmasters and more
This April, Lone Star Smokeout returns for its second year with three days of world-class barbecue, live music, and Texas culture. Headlined by Riley Green, Koe Wetzel, and Shaboozey, the festival has announced its full lineup of 15 pitmasters from Texas and across the country for the 2026 three-day festival, taking place April 24–26 outside AT&T Stadium.
Bringing together some of the most celebrated barbecue teams and rising stars, Lone Star Smokeout’s pitmaster roster reflects the diversity, heritage, and innovation shaping the future of American barbecue. The 2026 lineup includes James Beard Award nominees, Texas Monthly Top 50 selections, and Michelin-recommended smokehouses, alongside legacy names that helped define regional barbecue scenes nationwide.

Additionally, Lone Star Smokeout will feature Premium Live Fire Experiences available to Platinum ticket holders to further elevate the culinary programming. Taking place once daily in the Cabana and Platinum areas, these live-fire showcases will feature guest chefs preparing fresh barbecue bites over open flames exclusively for premium guests. The confirmed Live Fire Experience lineup includes: M&M BBQ Company, Kevin Bludso, Rasheed Phillips, LaVaca BBQ, and GW’s BBQ Catering Co.
These live-fire moments are designed as an immersive, chef-driven addition to the premium areas, complementing offerings from The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque and other curated culinary selections available throughout the day.

Standouts from the general admission lineup include: San Antonio favorite 2M Smokehouse BBQ, led by two-time James Beard nominee Esaul Ramos; Curry Boys BBQ, known for its innovative Thai curry–meets–Texas-barbecue approach; Hurtado Barbecue, a Texas Monthly Top 50 pick and official barbecue partner of the Texas Rangers; and Panther City BBQ, a Fort Worth staple recently earning a Michelin recommendation.
The festival also welcomes nationally acclaimed destinations such as Little Miss BBQ from Phoenix, Pappy’s Smokehouse from St. Louis, and Meat Mitch Barbecue, the championship-winning Kansas City brand now represented at Kansas City International Airport.
Honoring tradition and legacy, iconic Texas institutions Salt Lick BBQ, Slow Bone BBQ, and The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque will showcase the craftsmanship and family-driven stories that define Texas barbecue culture.
