Summer House's to-go concept is back October 15
Cue the comfy cardigans, fall colors, and cozy vibes—Coastal Soups, Summer House – Lincoln Park’s popular carryout and delivery concept, returns starting Thursday, October 15, just in time for soup season in Chicago!

Led by Summer House Chef Ben Goodnick, Coastal Soups serves up comfort by the pint or quart for lunch and dinner, seven days a week for carryout and delivery only, along with sandwiches, salads, and sweet treats to complete the meal.
Signatures include Old Fashioned Chicken Noodle, Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with fall-spiced pepitas, and Mediterranean Lentil with root vegetables and labneh, along with rotating “Chef’s Kettle” additions like Wisconsin Broccoli and Italian Wedding made with fennel sausage. Coastal Soups can also accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions with selections such as the vegetarian Herbed Tomato Bisque and gluten-free Wagyu Beef Chili and Chicken Tortilla Soup.

The menu brings even more to the table with satisfying ‘Great with Soup’ pairings, like the new Turkey Club Wrap packed with Applewood bacon, tomato, arugula, and herb aioli, alongside favorites like the Buttery Toasted Cheese with cheddar and havarti on sourdough, and Jalapeno Cornbread for Two.
And because no Summer House meal is complete without something sweet, for dessert, the Summer House Cookie Bar in a Cup features a bite-sized assortment of signature house-made favorites in a cute container to-go.

Shift into full ‘soup mode’ by snagging tickets to the Summer House Annual Chili Cook-Off on Thursday, October 29 from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM! Tickets are $81 per person, plus tax, and include tastings of chilis from chefs from Sushi-san, Gus’ Sip & Dip, The Oakville Grill & Cellar, Bub City, Summer House and Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba!, along with passed appetizers, a dessert station where you can build-your-own popcorn creation and candy salad, plus signature cocktails, draft beer and select wine pours.
A limited menu of Coastal Soups will also be available at The Cookie by Summer House at 161 E. Huron St. in Streeterville beginning Thursday, October 22, including Wagyu Beef Chili, Old Fashioned Chicken Noodle and Herbed Tomato Bisque.
Delivery and carryout from Coastal Soups at Summer House – Lincoln Park will be available Monday – Thursday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM; Friday: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Saturday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM; and Sunday 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Pick-up is located at Summer House – Lincoln Park on 1954 N. Halsted St. and delivery is available within a five-mile radius of the restaurant in Chicago.
