Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is bringing Napa Valley to Chicago with the first-ever Napa Valley Takeover, a three-day, multi-restaurant experience in partnership with Napa Valley Vintners! From Friday, December 5 – Sunday, December 7, revel in a variety of interactive wine experiences, from exclusive tastings, to brunch parties and collaborative menus, during a weekend celebrating the wines, flavors, and spirit of California’s most iconic wine region.
Anchored by the Grand Napa Valley Wine Tasting hosted by The Oakville Grill & Cellar, the event lineup features more than 40 participating wineries, a Masterclass exploring Napa’s AVAs, and a special collaboration with Napa’s beloved Gott’s Roadside (more details coming soon!)—making this the ultimate weekend for food and wine lovers alike.

Saturday, December 6: The Grand Napa Valley Wine Tasting
The weekend’s signature event, the Grand Napa Valley Wine Tasting, hosted by The Oakville Grill & Cellar, brings together 40 legendary Napa wineries under one roof at 167 Events in Fulton Market for an afternoon of tasting, connection, and discovery. Guests can choose from three unique experiences:
General Admission: 2:00–5:00 PM | $114 per person, plus tax (gratuity included)
Explore more than 40 wineries and enjoy California-inspired small bites from Gott’s Roadside and The Oakville Grill & Cellar throughout the 167 Events floor. It’s a one-of-a-kind tasting that transports you straight to wine country.
ADD-ON: Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Masterclass: 12:00–1:30 PM | $78 per person, plus tax (gratuity included)
Begin the day with an intimate tasting led by six winemakers and owners representing Napa Valley’s most celebrated AVAs. This guided exploration reveals how Napa’s kaleidoscope of terroir—its varied soils, elevations, and microclimates—shapes the distinct character of Cabernet Sauvignon across the valley. Through curated pours and conversation, guests will “connect the rocks” as they uncover the deep relationship between place and flavor that defines Napa’s most iconic varietal. Attendees enjoy 30-minute early access to the Grand Tasting floor following the session. Space is limited—reserve early.

Saturday, December 6: Collector’s Dinner at RPM Seafood
Join RPM Seafood on Saturday, December 6 at 7:00 PM for the Napa Valley Collector’s Dinner, featuring exclusive tastings from six acclaimed producers: Eleven Eleven, Somnium, Kenefick Ranch Winery, PerUS Wine, Priest Ranch, and Perchance Estates. Enjoy a five-course menu from the RPM Chef Team, each course thoughtfully paired to highlight the depth and character of some of Napa’s most celebrated vineyards. The evening begins with canapés and a glass of Priest Ranch Rosé, followed by an exclusive lineup of standout Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc and more.

Sunday, December 7: All-Day Chardonnay Party at Pizzeria Portofino
Bask in riverside sunshine at Pizzeria Portofino’s All-Day Chardonnay Party, a lively afternoon filled with Chardonnay, coastal bites, and waterfront views. Sip pours from Trefethen Family Vineyards, Long Meadow Ranch Winery, and Alpha Omega, paired with limited-edition pizza specials and Portofino favorites from the full menu. With a live DJ spinning upbeat sets, it’s the perfect way to toast the final day of the Napa Valley Takeover in laid-back, California-meets-Chicago style.

Enjoy a curated brunch menu paired with wines from Blackbird Vineyards, Patent Wines, The Vice, and Tres Sabores. With its coastal ambiance and bright energy, this event captures the best of both California and Chicago in one glass.
