Tuscan Tipples

Diane Corcoran, bar & spirits director of The St. Regis Chicago, crafted nine new specialty cocktails for Bar Tre Dita, including the Tre, a martini-esque homage to Tuscany that blends Italian gin, grappa and bianco vermouth, and the Dita (pictured above), an amari- and vermouth-driven take on a Manhattan.

Bar Tre Dita also serves St. Regis signature cocktails, including the location’s exclusive 1871 Bloody Mary.

Tre Chic

Bar Tre Dita at The St. Regis ChicagoOne of two bars at The St. Regis Chicago—modern Japanese restaurant Miru is on the 11th floor—Bar Tre Dita’s sprawling footprint accommodates up to 120 guests, including at the bar, where 14 luxurious leather bar stools are simply made for lingering over pours from its library of more than 400 carefully selected whiskies and global spirits. Bar Tre Dita evokes a modern Tuscan warmth, steeped in rich wood and gleaming Italian marble, with pops of deep red, navy, cream, amber, honey and tobacco throughout. A 96-foot-long hand-painted mural by American artist Dean Barger sweeps across the ceiling, depicting an abstract interpretation of Chicago’s skyline, river and iconic architecture.

Tucked into the northeasternmost corner of the room is an intimate table facing Navy Pier, perfect for cozying up for unobstructed views of the Navy Pier fireworks during the summer months.
