Step 1: Choose Your Protein – Select from tofu, sliced chicken, prime beef, shrimp or salmon, then pile on the fresh veggies. Chef Gutierrez recommends picking one (or two) primary vegetables, such as broccoli, green beans or spinach, then adding two to four secondary veggies, such as bamboo shoots, bok choy, Napa cabbage, red cabbage, onion, mushrooms and cilantro. “Remember that green leafy vegetables cook down,” he notes, “So be sure to fill up with a good variety of both green leafy veggies and root vegetables for good balance and texture.”

Step 2: Choose Your Sauce – Big Bowl’s signature sauces pack a flavorful punch and both vegetarian and gluten-free sauces are available. When choosing your sauce, Chef Gutierrez says, “Decide what you’re in the mood for. Is it sweet? Then Orange or Teriyaki it is! Something spicy? Choose Szechuan or Kung Pao. Something more simple and classic – go with the Shanghai Ginger-Garlic. Craving curry? Opt for the spicy Thai Green Curry or Panang Curry sauce, adding a savory and creamy element to your dish.” Other options include Thai Yellow Curry and Shanghai Mushroom-Ginger-Garlic.
