Ramen-san Is Now Serving Hot Broth, Cold Beer and Cool Beats in Lincoln Park

Your favorite ramen shop is now open in Lincoln Park

Ramen-san’s noods have made it to Chicago’s North Side at 1962 N. Halsted St.. The new Lincoln Park location is slinging hot noodles, ice-cold beer and  Japanese whisky all to the tune of the best ’90s hip-hop. The restaurant is open for dine-in and carryout and delivery for lunch and dinner, seven days a week. Here’s a look of what you can expect when you visit the newest Ramen-san!

Ramen-san Tonkotsu Ramen

HOT BROTH 

At the heart of the menu is of course, the broth including the signature 10-hour Tonkotsu. Behind the broth is Chef Kevin Marquardt, who will be breaking it down in a new content series! Stay tuned for more by following @ramensanchi on Instagram. 

You‘ll also find new items unique to Lincoln Park, including new veg friendly options including Edamame Hummus served with sesame rice crisps and the Kale and Cashew Salad with roasted cashew vinaigrette. The menu also features kid-friendly options like Kid Ramen with rich chicken broth and Tokyo wavy noodles, Chicken & Vegetable Gyoza, Karaage Chicken Nuggets and more, so the whole family can enjoy.

This newest Ramen-san location will now play host to the monthly Collab Dinner Series, hosting chefs from around the country for a ticketed multi-course collab dinner in addition to the guest chef’s take on ramen, which will be featured at all four Ramen-san locations for two weeks prior to the event. COLD BEER 

Asahi beer, a Ramen-san thirst-quenching classic, is on tap for beer drinkers but not just any cold beer, Hoshizaki blast chilled beer which is available in Lincoln Park and all locations. Not into beer? No problem, Ramen-san’s drinks menu features a plethora of options with a Japanese twist like the Okinawa ol’ Fashioned and the non-alcoholic Thank Yuzu, along with an extensive Whisky list. For sake drinkers, there are by-the-glass and bottle options, but the sake bombs are a must! Asahi cold draft with your choice of House Sake, Yuzu Sake or Spicy Kimchi Sake awaits any occasion. COOL BEATS 

Ramen-san is here to get Lincoln Park vibing to their ‘90s hip-hop playlist! If you’ve been to other locations you know that aside from their noods and broth, their playlist can’t be missed, it’s integral to the Ramen-san identity (psst – you can listen to it on Spotify).

Sake Bombs at Ramen-sanAlong with the beats, Ramen-san also brings their cool kid vibes to this multi-level location. You can expect the same warm and down-to-earth service from the team in a cozy yet modern space. Even better, the Lincoln Park location includes a lower level that’s perfect for parties!
