Coastal Soups is back at Summer House – Lincoln Park, bringing cozy vibes and sunshine by the spoonful all fall and winter long! Chef Ben Goodnick presents heartwarming savory soups, from classics like Old Fashioned Chicken Noodle to Summer House staples like Gus’ Tortilla Verde and seasonal selections like Roasted Butternut Squash. Coastal Soups are served by the cup or quart seven days a week for carryout and delivery only alongside the Summer House main menu. On Wednesday, November 12, join Aba – Chicago for an intimate fall tasting experience guided by Sommelier John C. Slatter, featuring Italian wines from regions including Piedmont, Toscana, Sicily and more, paired with an exclusive four-course menu crafted by Chef Partner CJ Jacobson. Savor family-style mezze including Hummus with Spicy Brassicus, Charred Octopus Salad, Brasato al Brunello, Creamy Parmesan Polenta, and more while learning about each selected wine pour. Tickets to the November Cellar Tasting Series are $119.95 per person, plus tax and 20% gratuity. There are two seatings available – 5:30 PM and 8:15 PM – please ensure you select your preferred time slot at the time of booking. Join Wildfire – Tysons for a 30th Anniversary wine dinner featuring a five-course menu paired with Justin Vineyards wines to complement. Courses will include Potato Focaccia Bread & Seafood Ceviche paired with Sauvignon Blanc, followed by Pan Seared Florida Red Snapper paired with Chardonnay, Homemade Confit of Duck Ravioli paired with Cabernet Sauvignon, Saddle of Colorado Lamb Wellington paired with Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, and for dessert, a Wildfire 30th Anniversary Cupcake paired with Isosceles. Erie St. in River North will welcome the next pop-up of Decker’s Sourdough Bagels, Chicago’s newest hand-rolled artisan sourdough bagels and house-made whipped cream cheese spreads available for carryout only by the single, half-dozen and dozen.
