Spritz your way into summer with an out-of-this-world cocktail recipe from RPM Italian! Made with a flirty mix of passionfruit cordial, Aperol, and Italian aperitivo, all topped off with our favorite bubbly, Giuliana Prosecco, you’ll be sipping this on a patio all season long.
Prosecco Supernova
A bubbly, flirty, and fruity sip
Yield: 1 drink
Ingredients:
FOR PROSECCO SUPERNOVA
1 oz. Aperol
1 oz. Cappalletti Aperitivo
¼ oz. Passionfruit Cordial (see sub-recipe)
3 oz. Giuliana Prosecco
mint, for garnish
FOR PASSIONFRUIT CORDIAL
1 2.2-lb. package Boiron Passionfruit Puree, thawed
½ cup water
1¼ cups evaporated cane sugar
1 tsp. sea salt
Method:
FOR PASSIONFRUIT CORDIAL
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
2. Blend on high for approximately 1 minute or until fully incorporated.
3. Store covered and refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
FOR PROSECCO SUPERNOVA COCKTAIL
1. Combine ingredients in a highball glass over a large clear ice spear (if available) or ice cubes filled almost to the top, then top with prosecco.
2. Using a barspoon, pull the ice cube(s) upwards, then stir 4-5 times to fully incorporate.
3. Garnish with a generous mint plush.
