Summer in Washington, D.C., just got tastier, thanks to the return of Taste of Lettuce! On Friday, August 15, at 7:00 PM, all five of Lettuce’s D.C.-Maryland-Virginia restaurants will come together for an epic, one-night-only event at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab celebrating the best of Lettuce.
You don’t want to miss this multi-course dinner featuring dishes from Joe’s Seafood Prime Steak & Stone Crab, Mon Ami Gabi – Bethesda, RPM Italian, Summer House – North Bethesda, and Wildfire -Tysons, served alongside wine and cocktail pairings.
Tickets to Taste of Lettuce D.C. are $149 per person, plus tax (gratuity not included), with a portion of proceeds benefitting Martha’s Table, a D.C.-based organization dedicated to expanding access for children and families to quality education, health and wellness, and other community resources.

The evening kicks off at 7:00 PM with a welcome reception featuring a taste of endless summer from Summer House Santa Monica. Chef Ink Barrack of the West Coast-inspired favorite at Pike & Rose in North Bethesda will showcase Ahi Tuna & Watermelon Tostadas, Crispy Chicken Meatballs, and Roma & Herb Salumi Skewers, paired with the Post Water-melone cocktail, made with gin, watermelon, lemon, and mint.
The seated dinner begins at 7:30 PM with a magnifique first course from the newly renovated and reopened Mon Ami Gabi – Bethesda. The French bistro classique will serve Sea Scallops St. Jacques with caramelized fennel and onion, and mornay au gratin, paired with Moreux “Les Bouffants” Sancerre from Loire, France (but of course!).
Next, indulge in authentic, handmade pasta from RPM Italian Executive Chef Massimo Vicidomini. Get ready to savor every bite of Buffalo Mozzarella Ravioli with heirloom tomatoes paired with Villa Sparina, an Italian Gavi di Gavi.
For the main course, Downtown D.C.’s steak and seafood stalwart and Taste of Lettuce host venue Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab will serve one of its most beloved entrees, Filet Mignon with green peppercorn sauce and asparagus, paired with Napa Valley’s Bella Union Cabernet Sauvignon.
Make sure to save room for dessert! Wildfire – Tysons, known for its iconic desserts like Door County Cherry Pie and Triple Layer Chocolate Cake, will provide a sweet end to the evening with a Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Torte, paired with Graham’s 20-Year Tawny Port. (Torte and port? Yes, please!)
